Millie Mackintosh of Made in Chelsea looked stunning at the Rodial Beautiful Awards last year in her statement necklace. So I’ve done the hard work of finding it for you. It’s not always easy to tell which piece of jewellery a celebrity is wearing from these photos but this time we have an exact match!
The Tempest Necklace from Stella and Dot. The trend of mixing chain, thread and crystals has been really popular. Stella and Dot know this too. Although you can buy some really cute dainty pieces from them I’ve always thought that Stella and Dot have been fantastic at creating big chunky pieces that are easy to wear and full of extra details.
This necklace was designed in collaboration with Lizzie Fortunato. I particularly like the use of silk against the distressed stones and the beautiful clasp. We all know that when you buy designer jewellery that every bit should look interesting and beautiful.
You might also notice that there is also a really cool ombre effect from the centre of the necklace going out. I think when you wear this the darker colour in the centre gives a defining neckline. It makes this statement necklace a safer choice if you’re not into big chunky piece yet.
