The Jewellery Trend To Watch in 2021: Evil Eyes

Now more than ever, we all need a little something to welcome positive energy into our lives. In the latter half of 2020 evil eyes started to make their way into our Instagram feeds. You may have bought a piece of evil eye jewellery back in 2013 as there was a micro trend then for Evil jewellery. But if you don’t have anything in your jewellery box at the ready to ward off bad luck and promote your positive thinking we’ve rounded up our favourite pieces of evil eye jewellery.

Evil Eye Anklet - Edge of Ember

Edge of Ember – Evil Eye Anklet – £75

When you’ve got nowhere to go at the moment an Anklet around the house can make you feel a lot more dressed up. Then when you finally get to go on holiday later this year you’ll have the perfect evil eye piece for the summer.

Evil Eye Ring - Cleopatras Bling

Cleopatra’s Bling – Hyacinthus Pinky Ring – €109.00

This ring from Cleopatra’s Bling a bit less stylised but still incredibly striking with the deep blue colour of Lapis Lazuli.

Annoushka – Love Diamonds 18ct Gold Diamond Evil Eye Necklace – £850

This symbolic evil eye necklace is crafted in 18ct yellow gold and hand set with concentric circles of striking blue, white and black diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.19 ct. Complete with an elegant sprung clasp and a chain length of 43cm, this necklace can be worn alone or layered with other Love Diamonds necklaces. Inspired by age-old beliefs and superstition, the evil eye is believed to protect its wearer from evil spirits.

The evil eye is also available as a matching bracelet.

Evil Eye Bracelet - Astley Clarke

Astley Clarke – Lapis Evil Eye Biography Bracelet – £135

Astley Clarke always has some lovely evil eye pieces in their jewellery collections giving them modern updates every couple of years. It was quite hard to pick which of their classic biography bracelets to share but I had to go with this gorgeous silver one. I think the silver and lapis lazuli is such a strong colour combination. Silver is generally not as popular with you guys but I think this combination is a bit of an unsung hero on here. I especially like the colour pop of the turquoise on the evil eye charm and think you should pair this bracelet with a crisp white blouse.

Evil Eye Protection Tri Ring - Edge of Ember

Edge of Ember – Protection Trio Ring – £125

A modern take on the evil eye symbol. The new Protection collection from Edge of Ember was designed to radiate positivity, ward off the bad vibes, and protect the body, soul and spirit.

These significant earrings have been designed to be worn across multiple piercings – and with any combination of studs, hoops and cuffs – for a playful aesthetic. Symbolising ‘wisdom’ and ‘protection’ these rose gold stud earrings make a meaningful jewellery gift.
