Around the end of March, I was browsing through MVs site and I came across the Monica Vinader advocacy program. I have no idea when the advocacy program was started, but I immediately plugged in my details and signed up.
What were the rewards for being an advocate and was how does this pay off versus the amount of sharing that you have to do or how much you have to spend at Monica Vinader?
There are four levels of the advocacy program which include; Insider, Advocate, Advisor and Ambassador. By sharing posts, attending live events, referring friends and completing other similar challenges you earn points which help you level up to higher advocacy tiers.
When I first signed up I was able to complete the first challenges and get myself to the advocacy stage. I own a few pieces from Monica Vinader and I don’t mind tagging them in my photos. My first reward was a Monica Vinader tote bag which was shipped to me free of charge.
I have to say I was more curious about the process and what would arrive rather than having a Monica Vinader tote bag. However, I’m totally happy to eat my words as I use this bag on a daily basis and carry it with me all the time. It’s a gorgeous pale lilac colour and the branding is rather subtle. I get the feeling that those “in the know” will notice it more than most people. But for the last two months I have been a walking advertisement for Monica Vinader and I don’t mind. I’ve always been a BYOB kind of girl when it comes to taking canvas bags (or even wicker baskets) to the supermarket.
When I get to the next tier up I will be Advisor level and I will get the extra benefit of early access to new season items and special gift vouchers.
It looks like I have quite a way to go in terms of completing challenges but I’m in no rush. I’m a long-standing fan of Monica Vinader jewellery and I’m sure I’ll be coming back often to see how to get to ambassador level. It’s amazing when something is made into a game how much we want to level up and complete it.
The ambassador level has a very curious reward, which is a surprise gift. I think most of you will agree that a surprise gift from Monica Vinader, no matter who it’s from is always welcome.
I would recommend having a look through this. If you’re happy sharing where you got something from then it’s nice to be rewarded by a brand that you genuinely like. When I get to advisor level, and ambassador, I shall update and let you all know how I’m getting on.
